Nissan Motor Co. reports its new-vehicle sales in China fell to 84,200 units last month from 97,800 units in July 2014.

Results included an 11% decline to 67,100 in car deliveries. Demand for Nissan's commercial vehicles plummeted 26% to 17,100 units.

Nissan's China sales in January-July were 672,100, up 3% from the same period in 2014. The company expects to sell about 1.3 million units in the country this year.
