Nissan’s Infiniti Brand Cranks Up China Presence
Nissan Motor Co., which operated 25 Infiniti dealerships in China in 2011, says it will have 90 outlets for the luxury brand by year-end and 125 stores by 2015.
Nissan Motor Co., which operated 25 Infiniti dealerships in China in 2011, says it will have 90 outlets for the luxury brand by year-end and 125 stores by 2015.
Nissan aims to multiply Infiniti sales in China to 100,000 units per year by 2016 from 19,000 units last year. The company says it is preparing to produce two unspecified models in China within the next few years.
Infiniti also will formally relocate its global headquarters to Hong Kong this month. Nissan began moving the unit's sales, marketing and product planning operations to Hong Kong in March.
