Nissan Motor Co., which has been expanding its low-cost Datsun marque in India since launching it there in 2013, will complete the brand's lineup next year with an entry-level version of the Go compact sedan.

Guillaume Sicard, president of the Nissan's India unit, tells AutoBeat Asia Nissan will grow its dealerships network from 176 currently to 300 by the end of 2016. The count will include 60 stand-alone Datsun outlets compared with 21 today.

Datsun debuted the Go sedan in India two years ago and added the seven-passenger Go+ MPV in January. Combined sales totaled 19,000 in the first year. Sicard expects double-digit growth for Datsun in 2015.
