Nissan Names Former Disney Exec to Head U.S. Marketing
Nissan Motor Co. has hired Jeremy Tucker, formerly vice president for strategic marketing with the Walt Disney Co.'s consumer products business, to become vice president of marketing communications and media.

Nissan Motor Co. has hired Jeremy Tucker, formerly vice president for strategic marketing with the Walt Disney Co.'s consumer products business, to become vice president of marketing communications and media. He moves into his new job on Sept. 22.
Tucker, 38, has no auto industry experience. Nissan sales and marketing chief Fred Diaz says he is counting on Tucker to help the company find "uncommon ways" to promote itself.
At Disney, Tucker directed the company's retail marketing. Before joining Disney, he helped market such products as Pepsi and Pampers.
