NHTSA to Probe Engine Fires in Cruze, Wrangler
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says it has opened two preliminary investigations into a handful of recent reports about engine fires in the 2010 Jeep Wrangler and 2011 Chevrolet Cruze.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says it has opened two preliminary investigations into a handful of recent reports about engine fires in the 2010 Jeep Wrangler and 2011 Chevrolet Cruze.
The probe includes 100,000 Wranglers and 177,000 Cruzes.
NHTSA says the fires in all but one of 10 reports broke out while the vehicle was being driven. In several cases, the vehicle was destroyed.
