The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has launched a preliminary investigation into 61 reports of door latches failing in 2011-2013 For Fiesta minicars.

The probe covers about 205,000 vehicles. Owners say their car's door unlatched and the "door ajar" warning lamp illuminated after they closed the door and began driving.
