NGK Names New CEO for U.S. Spark Plug Unit

Japan’s NGK Spark Plug Co. has named Yoshitaka Narita as president and CEO of its U.S. operations. He served as the unit’s chief financial officer a decade ago.

Narita had been a managing officer of NGK in Nagoya. He succeeds Hitoshi Iimi, who has returned to the parent company. NGK also makes oxygen sensors. The company operates three factories in the U.S.
