Nexteer to Relocate Headquarters
Steering systems and driveline supplier Nexteer Automotive Group Ltd. is moving its global headquarters from Saginaw, Mich., to the Detroit suburb of Auburn Hills.
Steering systems and driveline supplier Nexteer Automotive Group Ltd. is moving its global headquarters from Saginaw, Mich., to the Detroit suburb of Auburn Hills.
The company expects to open the new offices in the second quarter of 2016. Nexteer's global engineering center will remain in Saginaw County. About 150 employees will be affected by the relocation.
Nexteer employs 12,000 people worldwide, including 5,000 in Michigan. The company, once a part of the Saginaw Steering Gear division of General Motors, was acquired by China's Pacific Century Motors in 2010.
