Nexteer CEO Resigns

Robert Remenar has stepped down as president and CEO of Nexteer Automotive Inc. to become CEO of Diversified Machine Inc. He will remain on the Nexteer board.

Nexteer Chairman Guibin Zhao will assume the CEO duties. Laurent Bresson, who was named chief operating officer in May, adds the title of president.

Nexteer, the former Saginaw Steering Gear unit of General Motors Co., supplies steering and driveline systems to customers worldwide. Diversified Machine is a Wixom, Mich.-based maker of chassis and powertrain components.
