The average transaction price of a light vehicle in April was $195 (1%) higher than in March and $836 (3%) higher than in April 2014, according to Kelley Blue Book.

The largest increases were in the truck segment, where full- and midsize models rose about 5% and 4%, respectively.
Transaction prices climbed the most at Hyundai and its Kia Motors affiliate (+5%). Prices slipped 1% at Volkswagen, according to KBB.
