Volkswagen AG will implement a new name—Traton Group—for its commercial truck and bus operations within the next three months.

The new moniker is intended to give the group a separate identity from its parent, according to VW Truck & Bus CEO Andreas Renschler. Traton will consist of Scania, MAN, VW Commercial Vehicles and VW’s 17% stake in U.S.-based Navistar International.

Reuters notes that the new name follows a move last week by the group to make it easier for the business to issue shares. The unit hired mergers and acquisition expert Christian Schultz to be its chief financial officer and converted itself into a stock corporation.

VW indicated previously that it might publicly list all or a portion of its truck operations, although such a move won’t come until at least 2019.
