Genesis released a teaser image and video of the vehicle, dubbed the New York Concept, ahead of its formal unveiling next week at the New York auto show. The darkened photo shows a sculpted front-end, highlighted by a broad hexagonal grille with honeycomb inserts and narrow LED headlights.
Genesis describes the styling as “athletic elegance.” It provided no other details about the car.
Sales of the brand's first model, the G90 large sedan, began earlier this year in South Korea and will be followed in coming months in the U.S. and other markets. Additional models in the pipeline include two smaller sedans, a coupe and two crossover vehicles.
