Mustang Outselling All Other Sports Cars

Ford Motor Co.'s Mustang sport coupe outsold all others in its category worldwide in the first half of 2015, according to IHS Automotive.

Worldwide Mustang deliveries in January-June surged 56% to 76,100 units, including a 54% increase to 68,300 in the U.S. Sales of rival Chevrolet Camaro coupes in the U.S. dropped 9% to 42,600 units in the same period, according to Autodata Corp.

Ford, which offers the Mustang in more than 100 markets, has begun building right-hand-drive versions of the car at its plant in Flat Rock, Mich.
