Lisle, Ill.-based Molex Inc. says its new MXP120 sealed connectors are more durable, better performing and easier to use than previous connectors. Designed for powertrain, body, safety and electronics applications, the connectors feature a unique "anti-scooping" system that protects pins from being damaged when connected with other components, according to the supplier.
Molex says the new 1.2-mm connectors can be used in place of 1.5-mm units in space-constrained applications. Other purported benefits include improved mating, sealing and performance for applications in severe-duty environments, such as for fuel-injection systems, emission controls and ignition coils.
