Mitsubishi Recalls 840,000 Vehicles Worldwide
Mitsubishi Motors Corp. is recalling at least 854,000 vehicles worldwide, including nearly 704,000 in Japan, to remedy a light switch defect that can cause the headlamps and turn signals to stop working.

Mitsubishi Motors Corp. is recalling at least 854,000 vehicles worldwide, including nearly 704,000 in Japan, to remedy a light switch defect that can cause the headlamps and turn signals to stop working.
The campaign covers 12 models built during the 2003-2008 model years. They include Colt small cars, Pajero/Montero SUVs and eK Wagon microvans (also supplied to Nissan Motor Co. as the Otti).
The recall is MMC's largest since the company called back 1.8 million vehicles a year ago to repair an engine oil leak.
