Anders Warming, who had been the chief designer for BMW AG’s Mini brand since 2010, has left the company, reports GT-Spirit.

The enthusiast website, which doesn’t cite its sources, says the Danish-born designer is “pursuing other opportunities.” BMW declined to comment.

After graduating from the Art Center College of Design in Switzerland, Warming began his career in 1997 at BMW's DesignworksUSA studio in California. He spent two years at Volkswagen before rejoining BMW in Germany in 2005. Prior to his most recent job, Warming served as BMW’s head exterior designer.

His credits at Mini include leading the design of the F54 Clubman and F60 Countryman. Warming also oversaw the 2014 Supperleggera concept and this year’s Vision Next 100 concept car. And Warming was on the teams that developed BMW’s second-generation X3 SUV, Z4 Roadster, and updates to the 5 and 6 Series cars.
