Metaldyne Performance Group Consolidates Brands

Metaldyne Performance Group Inc. is combining its portfolio of powertrain and suspension part brands under the MPG name.

Metaldyne Performance was created two years ago by merging high-tech metal-forming and casting companies Grede, HHI Holdings and Metaldyne. The move brought together such brands as Cloyes, FormTech, Grede, HHI, Impact Forge, Jernberg, Metaldyne and NovoCast.

The company says its internal structure and reporting segments will remain unchanged by the brand consolidation.
