Daimler AG’s Mercedes-Benz unit will unveil a pair of convertible variants of its GT sports coupe later this month at the Paris auto show.
The vehicles, which will be called the GT Roadster and GT C Roadster will get cloth soft-top roofs to help cut weight. The GT Roadster is expected to copy the base GT design, while the GT C version will sport model-specific styling cues.
The GT Roadster will be powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 engine that makes 456 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque. The GT C powertrain hasn’t been announced.
