British supercar maker McLaren Automotive Ltd.is developing an all-electric model as part of its range-topping Ultimate Series hypercars, Autocar reports.

Just five of the customized electric models will be produced, according to Autocar. The U.K. enthusiast magazine, which doesn’t cite its sources, says current McLaren owners will test drive the EVs during the development process.

No timeline was given for the program. McLaren previously has said half of its vehicles will be electrified by 2022, including the BP23 hybrid due in 2019 and hybrid replacements for its 570 Sports Series and 720 Super Series models.
