Fiat Chrysler Automobile NV’s Maserati unit is launching two recalls in the U.S. to fix flaws that could cause a fire.
The company is calling back 28,500 of its 2014-2017 model Ghibli, Levante and Quattroporte luxury cars to fix a possible short-circuit problem in the electrically adjusted front seats.
Maserati also will remedy potential fuel-line leaks in 10,900 of its 2014-2015 model Ghibli and Quattroporte models.
Last spring the company recalled 28,200 of its 2013-2015 models Ghibli and Quattroporte to better anchor floor mats that could slip, jam against the accelerator pedal and result in what Maserati described as “very high vehicle speeds.”
