Marchionne became Ferrari's chairman last year after dismissing Luca di Montezemolo from the post in a rift over the supercar maker's future direction. Bloomberg's sources say he would retain the chairmanship, although no decision has been made about the CEO position. Ferrari has declined to comment except to say it is looking for Felici's replacement.
FCA plans to sell 10% of Ferrari to the public in an initial public offering that will distribute most of the stock to existing FCA shareholders. Piero Ferrari, the son of founder Enzo Ferrari, is expected to retain his 10% stake.
