Mahle Expands North American Headquarters

Mahle Industries Inc. has acquired a 50,000-sq.-ft. building adjacent to its headquarters in Farmington Hills, Mich., to help consolidate its North American corporate activities in North America.

Mahle Industries is the North American holding company of Stuttgart-based Mahle GmbH, which supplies engine components and air management systems worldwide.

Expanding the Farmington Hills complex will enable the company to centralize its accounting, finance, human resources, IT, legal and sales operations. Mahle also will relocate the engineering services and test systems operations of Mahle Powertrain from Novi, Mich., to the new campus.

The consolidation will boost staffing at the headquarters complex to more than 350 employees next year.
