Ford Motor Co.’s Lincoln luxury brand is offering its U.S. customers free home pickup and delivery of their 2017 model vehicles—and a comparable loaner—when their vehicles need maintenance or other service work.

The program will begin with the all-new Continental due this autumn.

Lincoln says customers will be able to have their vehicle picked up at one location and delivered to another. The service, dubbed Lincoln Service Valet, will be part of the brand’s new-car warranty and is available for all 2017 model Lincolns.

The brand reports overwhelmingly positive feedback after testing the concept with a handful of dealers over the past 12 months. Lincoln describes the service as a loyalty-building feature.

Dealers tell Automotive News they are pleased that customers in the pilot program say the service makes them far more likely to have their cars serviced at the dealership, even if they don’t bring the vehicles in personally.
