The company cites IHS Automotive data indicating that Lincoln sales to women have jumped 45% in the past 10 years. Registrations to women of the MKC small crossover climbed 52% year on year in the second half of 2015. Likewise, sales to women of Lincoln’s larger MKX crossover are up 48%.
Lincoln, which is pushing an image of quiet luxury and elegance, suggests women appreciate the brand’s “holistic expression of quality” in color and materials..
