A 22-year-old woman in Louisiana may be the seventh person killed by an exploding Takata Corp. airbag inflator, Bloomberg News reports.

A lawsuit filed on behalf of Kylan Langlinais says she died on April 5 after shrapnel ejected by the inflator sliced her throat. The airbag inflated after her 2005 Honda Civic ran off the road and struck a utility pole.

All six Takata inflator-related deaths reported to date five of them in the U.S. have involved Honda vehicles. The lawsuit says the victim received a recall notice to repair her car two days after the fatal crash.
