Toyota Motor Corp.'s Lexus unit will publicly introduce two restyled F Sport versions of its IS sedan next Tuesday at the Detroit auto show.

Both models, dubbed the IS 250 F and IS 350 F, will compete with such German rivals as the Audi A4, BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedans. The same styling package will be available for the IS 300h hybrid version.

The most prominent exterior update is a revision of the new Lexus "spindle grille" to increase the lower air intake surface. The cars also feature redesigned headlamps and custom 18-inch wheels.

Inside, both models debut touch-sensitive control switches and thinner sport seats made with a first-for-Lexus integrated foam molding process. Lexus says the cars will be equipped with a movable instrument cluster inspired by the company's LFA supercar.
