Lexus Previews Sleek Crossover Concept

Toyota Motor Corp.’s Lexus luxury arm has released a photo of the sporty UX crossover/SUV concept ahead of the vehicle’s public unveiling later this month at the Paris auto show.

The compact model teams a muscular stance with a sleek coupe-like profile. Highlights include flared fenders and oversized wheels.

Noting the UX’s similarity to the concept version of Toyota’s upcoming C-HR crossover, media reports speculate that a production version of the Lexus model also could be in the works. The C-HR will ride on Toyota’s New Global Architecture, which carries the Corolla sedan and redesigned Prius hybrid.
