Lexus Mulls Second Flagship Model

Toyota Motor Corp.'s Lexus unit plans to launch a second flagship model, Reuters reports.

Jeff Bracken, Lexus division general manager, tells the news agency the new vehicle will be in addition to the brand's current top-end LS sedan. He didn't say what type of vehicle the new model would be, but noted that it doesn't have to be a sedan.

Media reports speculate that the new model could be a crossover or LS-based coupe. More details are expected to be revealed in January.
