Lamborghini Recalls Gallardo Supercars

Volkswagen AG's Lamborghini unit is recalling nearly 1,500 of its Gallardo Spyder and Coupe supercars to fix a power steering leak that could cause a fire.

The campaign, which is huge by supercar standards, covers virtually all Gallardos sold in the U.S. between 2004 and 2006.

Under certain conditions, the high-pressure steering pipes near the power steering pump may leak, according to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. If hydraulic fluid hits the hot engine, a fire could start.
