To mark the 50th anniversary of its legendary Miura mid-engine roadster, Lamborghini SpA has given its 15-year-old museum a full makeover.

The revamped 2-story facility—which is packed with historical vehicles, engines and information—is located next to Lamborghini’s headquarters and sole manufacturing plant in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy. The museum also includes a motorsports display and futuristic designs and concept models such as the Urus SUV due in 2018.

At the entrance, visitors are greeted by a 1963 350 GT—the supercar brand’s first model. The rest of the first floor is dedicated to the Miura, including a one-off convertible and a rolling chassis display.

The second floor is split into two main areas: one showcasing all Lambo models and the other focusing on motorsports. Highlights include a 400 GT and a pre-production Diablo. In the motorsports area, several Super Trofeo cars and V-12-powered Formula One cars are displayed. There’s also a virtual reality system that allows visitors to experience a lap in a Super Trofeo racer from a Huracan production seat.

A new vehicle family tree allows visitors to trace the lineage of every Lamborghini model, including technical specifications and production figures.
