KSPG Renames North American Piston Unit

Germany's KSPG AG has changed the name of its North American piston subsidiary from Karl Schmidt Unisia to KS Kolbenschmidt US Inc., effective this month.

The parent company was known as Kolbenschmidt Pierburg AG until May 2011. KSPG says the new name of the Auburn Hills, Mich.-based unit aligns it more closely with the company's global brand identity.
