John Gregory Tapped to Head Bentley Exterior Design

Volkswagen AG’s Bentley arm has appointed John Paul Gregory to lead the exterior design of its future models.

Gregory joined VW in 2004 and has spent the last eight years at Bentley. He most recently served as advanced exterior design leader. Gregory has a master’s in automotive design from Germany’s Hochschule Pforzheim University and an undergraduate degree in transportation design from the University of Northumbria in the U.K.

Gregory will report to Bentley design chief Stefan Sielaff, who replaced Luc Donckerwolke last year. Donckerwolke left the luxury brand to join Hyundai Motor Co.
