JLR Sales Boost Tata Motors’ Volume 21%

Tata Motors Ltd. reports its worldwide sales jumped to 92,600 units in June from 76,600 vehicles in the same month of 2015.

Results were driven by a 35% jump to 47,200 units in deliveries of luxury models from the company’s Jaguar Land Rover operations. Tata’s total passenger vehicle sales, including its self-branded models, grew to 59,800 cars last month.

Tata reports its year-on-year sales of commercial vehicles advanced 5% to 32,700 units last month.
