J.D. Power Buys NADA Used Car Guide

J.D. Power has completed its purchase of the National Automobile Dealers Assn.'s 82-year-old NADA Used Car Guide. Terms were not disclosed.

The pocketsize yellow and blue monthly is widely used by dealers and loan officers to determine trade-in pricing on used cars. Power says the acquisition will complement its Power Information Network capabilities.

The company has made job offers to the publication's existing staff, which will continue to be headquartered in McLean, Va.
