Tata Motors Ltd.'s Jaguar Cars unit plans to launch a recall in America next month to repair the fuel tanks in 4,200 XF sport sedans from the 2010-2012 model years.

The campaign involves cars equipped with a 5.0-liter V-8 engine. The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says the fuel outlet flange on affected cars could crack and allow fuel to leak out. Jaguar says it is not aware of any fires or injuries related to the defect.
