Jaguar Land Rover in Talks About Brazil Factory

Tata Motors Ltd.'s Jaguar Land Rover unit is holding discussions with several unidentified parties in Brazil about establishing production there, Dow Jones Newswires reports.

The news service cites an unnamed JLR executive who declines to identify a location for the factory or what vehicles it might build.

The British boutique brands aim to dramatically increase their sales in Brazil, China and India. JLR tells Dow Jones it expects to expand capacity at its year-old assembly plant in Pune, India, to meet strong demand.
