Jaguar Land Rover Ltd. is expanding warranties and offering free routine maintenance for some of its vehicles.

In April the company will debut a new 5-year, 60,000-mile warranty for 2016 model F-Type sports cars sold in America. The program includes free scheduled maintenance, unlimited roadside assistance and Jaguar's "InControl" connected-car service.

F-Type cars currently are covered in the U.S. for 4 years and 50,000 miles and include free scheduled maintenance only for the first visit.

In May Jaguar will roll out a 3-year, unlimited "Jaguar Care" warranty program for XE sport sedans sold in 10 European markets. Like the F-Type plan, the package includes free routine maintenance and unlimited roadside assistance over the period.

Jaguar indicates more models and more markets will get the longer warranties, but it has not provided details.
