Tata Motors Ltd.'s Jaguar Cars unit is introducing a new all-wheel-drive system in its left-hand-drive XF and XJ sedans this autumn.

Jaguar hasn't offered AWD since 2009. The feature is available from virtually all the brand's competitors.

Jaguar says there are no plans to develop a right-hand-drive version for the U.K., its home market. The company expects about 75% of vehicles equipped with the technology to be sold in North America.
