Isuzu has defended its position as delivering the most satisfying purchase experience of any mass-market auto brand in Thailand, according to consultant J.D. Power.

Isuzu scored 822 points out of a possible 1,000 in Power’s annual Sales Satisfaction Index, which polls new owners about the purchase process. The industry average was 811. Honda and Toyota tied for second with scores of 814, followed by Suzuki with an 813 rating.

Power says the proportion of “delighted” customers, who rated their purchase experience a perfect “10,” rose to 22% from 8% last year.
