Infineon Technologies AG plans to open a development center later this year at its facility in Dresden, Germany.
Infineon Technologies AG plans to open a development center later this year at its facility in Dresden, Germany.
The center will focus on semiconductors used in autonomous vehicles, electric vehicles, artificial intelligence, systems integration and automated manufacturing. Infineon plans to hire 100 people to work at the center during the first phase and another 150 later.
Infineon says automotive accounts for 42% of its business.
