IAC Launches Ninth Trim Plant in China

International Automotive Components Group has opened a factory in Shengyang, China, to supply carpet to Buick GL8 and Chevrolet Cruze vehicles made nearby by Shanghai General Motors.

The new factory, a venture with Shanghai Car Carpet Plant, is the ninth interior and exterior trim facility IAC has opened in China within the past five years. The Luxembourg-based company now has 14 manufacturing operations in the Asia-Pacific region.
