Hyundai Recalls Santa Fe SUVs with Loose Steering Wheels
Hyundai Motor Co. is recalling 43,900 of its 2018 model Santa Fe and Santa Fe Sport SUVs with faulty steering wheels that could fall off.

Hyundai Motor Co. is recalling 43,900 of its 2018 model Santa Fe and Santa Fe Sport SUVs with faulty steering wheels that could fall off.
The affected vehicles were produced at Hyundai assembly plants in South Korea and the U.S. The company blames defective steering wheel assemblies from a supplier. No other Hyundai or Genesis models are affected.
Hyundai is aware of two cases of steering wheels separating since the problem was discovered in December. The company will begin notifying U.S. customers about the defect in March.
