Honda Motor Co. says its new Acura NSX supercar will retail between $157,800 and $207,500—including delivery charges and depending upon options—when it goes on sale in the U.S. next spring.

The often-delayed car had been expected to debut a few months ago. But the company said in August it would push back the launch to address undisclosed engine adjustments.

Authorized Acura dealers will begin taking orders for the all-wheel-drive car on Feb. 25. Honda will build the NSX in Ohio and expects to sell about 800 units per year in the U.S.

The NSX’s hybrid powertrain will feature a 3.5-liter, twin-turbocharged V-6 engine that makes 500 hp, plus three electric motors that contribute another 73 hp.

The piston engine’s power will be routed to the rear wheels through a 9-speed automatic dual-clutch gearbox. Two electric motors will power the front wheels. Honda says a third motor between the engine and transmission will assist acceleration and make gear shifts smoother. The car is expected to deliver zero-to-60 mph acceleration times of less than 3 seconds.
