Honda Motor Co. is launching a youth-oriented video series to appear on NBC Television three hours before the iconic Saturday Night Live comedy show airs.

Dubbed Saturday Night Line, the show will use SNL cast members in ad-lib comedy bits, including some staged with SNL fans sitting in the back of Honda CR-V and HR-V crossovers. Honda says the program also will be accessible through video-on-demand platforms and such online services as Hulu.

The new show is being produced for Honda by Broadway Video. The program's creator and executive producer is SNL creator/producer Lorne Michaels.
