Honda Motor Co. is calling back 107,000 Odyssey minivans in the U.S. because their power sliding doors could open while the vehicle is moving.
The recall targets 107,000 of the company’s 2018-2019 models. Honda says the power locking mechanism in those minivans could stick and then fail to latch the side sliding doors when they close.
Honda says dealers have a limited supply of repair kits now. Those who don’t will offer owners the interim option of disabling the power door feature. Honda says the doors will latch correctly when closed manually.
