Honda Lifts Veil on F1 Racing Engine

Honda's F1 racing engine

Honda Motor Co. will use this weekend's Formula One race at Japan's Suzuka circuit to reveal a video showing development of the F1 engine it is preparing for the 2015 season.

The turbocharged powerplant and integrated energy recovery system are undergoing extensive bench tests now.

Honda will show the video at the Suzuka race, then post it on its Website complete with the sound of the engine revving up on Oct. 6.
