Honda Motor Co. is recalling 190,600 cars in India to replace passenger-side Takata Corp. airbag inflators that could explode.
The campaign covers Accord, Civic and City sedans, Jazz mini-hatches and CR-V crossover vehicles built between 2003 and 2011.
Honda has recalled tens of millions of vehicles worldwide to replace Takata inflators. The devices can deteriorate after prolonged exposure to heat and humidity, then misfire when triggered by a crash. The flaw has been blamed for 13 fatalities, 12 of them involving Honda vehicles.
