Honda Expands Capacity in India
Honda Cars India Ltd. is spending about $65 million to boost annual capacity 50% to 180,000 units at its factory in Tapukara.

The plant currently makes the Honda Amaze and City small cars. When the expansion is completed in mid-2016, the facility will add local production of the five-door Jazz small car (called the Fit in some markets).
Honda says its domestic sales in India surged 44% to 166,400 units in fiscal 2014-2015.
