Honda Motor Co. and its Acura luxury unit each will introduce new crossover vehicles later this month at the Beijing auto show. Both vehicles will be built exclusively in China.
Honda will take the wraps off the production version of its 2015 Concept D model. The yet-to-be-named model will be slotted above the CR-V and serve as the brand’s flagship model in China.
The new Acura compact crossover is expected to be a toned-down version of the SUV-X concept that was unveiled at the 2013 Shanghai auto show. Media reports say the vehicle will share some components with Honda’s HR-V entry-level crossover.
