Head of Bosch Automotive Quits to Become Mahle’s CEO

Wolf-Henning Scheider, who has led automotive operations for Robert Bosch GmbH since July 2013, will leave the company at the end of March 2015 to become chairman and CEO of powertrain parts supplier Mahle GmbH.

Wolf-Henning Scheider, who has led automotive operations for Robert Bosch GmbH since July 2013, will leave the company at the end of March 2015 to become chairman and CEO of powertrain parts supplier Mahle GmbH.

Both companies have had a close business relationship for years. They also operate a turbocharger joint venture, Bosch Mahler Turbosystems.

Prior assignments for Scheider, 52, included head of Bosch's car multimedia and gasoline systems divisions. He will be succeeded by Rolf Bulander, who will assume responsibility for Bosch's newly named Mobility Solutions business unit on April 1.

Bulander, 56, will be responsible for the company's diesel, gasoline, starter motor, generators and electric drives divisions.
